New Knowledge: the only new knowledge that I found is that it may cause mild skin irritation
* Yes, I was surprised to find that the toxicity level was only 1. I am surprised that my deodorant is more hazardous than this product that is supposed to "kill" something.
* I decided to not change my consumer behavior because it only has a score of 1 and also, because the smell reminds me of my mom because she cleans her house with it and the smell reminds of Saturday mornings and her mopping the floors in the house
* everyone should know that it is a low health risk at 1. People do not know because the label shows pinecones instead of warnings. To me though, there is nothing to be warned about, like the fumes of the pine-sol
2.) Lysol Brand II Disinfecting Wipes, Ocean Fresh

New Knowledge: Again, this product is safer to use than my deodorant AND my face wash that scored a 5. Shaking my head!!
* Yes, I was surprised that the toxicity level was only 1. My face wash scored a 5 and this product scored a 1 and the face wash goes on my face! OMG!
* I decided to not change my consumer behavior because it was a low score of 1 on hazsardness and now I am happy that I use this product.
* Everyone should know that this product is low on the hazard totem poll but they do not know because of advertising. Advertising is a big thing!
Wow! I am also surprised by the low toxicity level! That is great. As you said, it def is disturbing that these cleaners are less toxic than your personal care products. Im glad you are able to continue to clean without fear of toxic exposure!
ReplyDeleteHey Rudi,
ReplyDeleteI'm also surprised that your deodorant and face wash were found to be more dangerous than your household products/cleaners! I was also thinking that household products designed to kill germs and clean would be more toxic or dangerous, but it's interesting because at least you know those products are safe to use and you don't need to throw it out and buy something different! Thanks for sharing!
