· Only active during wet weather
· Located at Bay Street and the Embarcadero
2. Southeast Treatment Plant
· Built in 1952
· Receives 80% of the City’s flows
· Locate on Phelps Street near Third and Evans streets in the Bayview District
3. Oceanside Treatment Plant
· Built in 1993
· Receives 20% of the City’s flows
· Located off the Great Highway between Lake Merced and San Francisco Zoo

ReplyDeleteI had no idea about the North Point Point Wet Weather Facility and the Southeast Treatment Plant! They seem very old though (built in the 1950's) compared to the Oceanside Treatment Plant, I wonder if they would need to be updated/remodeled or if they already have been.
